SWITCH Tech Mobile Access Resource Page

Step 1
Download the Best Switch App on your device. This building has keyless entry.
Step 2
- You will receive a unique access token email similar to the one to the right. Please note, credentials are unique to you and must not be shared.
- If you do not receive an access token in your general inbox, please check your spam folder. Additionally, please whitelist donotreply@lockt.com in your email provider. If you do not receive this email after 1 business day, please speak with your Property Manager
- Please note, this token will be an alphanumeric 16 digit code which means it will contain both numbers and letters. Please note the characters below and what they represent. Please note that all letters are capital letters.
- Zero is (0)
- O as in Oscar is (O)
- L as in Larry is (L)
- One is (1)
Step 3
Once downloaded, open the SWITCH application.
On the top you will see ‘Select a key’, click on it and proceed to the next step.

Once downloaded, open the SWITCH application. On the top you will see ‘Select a key’, click on it and proceed to the next step.
Step 5
Once on this screen you will see a place to enter your registration token. Please refer to the email you received with your alphanumeric 16 digit registration token. Each token is unique to you and cannot be shared as it will invalidate your account.
Once you enter your registration token, click on the submit button.
The alphanumeric code displayed in the image will not work, please do not enter this code.
Step 6
Once on this screen, please wait for your code to be validated and the registration process to be completed.
Do not exit this screen or press cancel.
Once you see a green success message and ‘Downtown Works’ under your keys, you are all set and ready to go.
Important Note: this system is managed by WL Investments, not Downtown Works. For any issues pertaining to your access or this system, please call our office. Downtown Works will not be able to assist.

Step 7
If you have completed these steps in order, your access should be ready to go. There are very rare instances which may prevent you from completing the process. Should you experience an issue, please give our office a call and we will be able to assist.
How to Use SWITCH App
Open the SWITCH application on your device and follow the instructions below.
- You will notice on the home screen of the application, you will see a big ‘ACTIVATE‘ button.
- Once within range the reader, click on the ‘ACTIVATE‘ button. Reader distance is about 10 inches.
- For Building Entrances – click on the ‘ACTIVATE‘ button and the door will open with a success message. Please note, that you must be within range and onsite for your device to open the building.
- Hold the phone within 4-5 inches of the reader so the two devices can communicate. You will hear the reader on the wall beep and likely hear the door unlock when you are granted access.
NOTE – holding your phone in close proximity to the reader (less than 2 inches) can potentially open your Apple Wallet or Google Pay. The reader is able to trigger the opening of these apps but is not able to read anything in them.
